Mohair direct from the farm

Péhart, in the center of the Brittany peninsula of North-West France, is the geographical home to our small herd of white angora goats.

The welfare of our animals is most important. Our goats are sheared twice a year; in spring and late summer, depending on the weather.We shear the goats ourselves: so we can select the best time for the animal and there is no pressure to get the job done quickly.

On dry days our goats enjoy green pasture; otherwise they shelter in some of the granite farm buildings here that date back to the 15th century.
